to the Montesa Veterans
Club Netherlands website. The objective of our club is to inform and educate and bring together Montesa owners and riders regarding anything and everything Montesa. Montesa is, of course, of Spanish origin making a name for itself as a road bike but eventually becoming involved and successful in all areas of motorcycle sport. |

The emphasis here in The Netherlands is, as it is the world over, on trials and trials machines (but not exclusive of the other disciplines). In the early seventies there was an explosion in the number of trials bikes being imported to The Netherlands including the Cota 247, 348 and 349. They quickly became the most popular and best selling trials models.
